photographs and words—my own and of others—are the points of departure that i most utilize to sow, gestate, ruminate, and birth ideas and concepts for my work. i model, sketch, and craft studies to understand form, materiality, color, and composition of final work. seeds is my compilation of those scenes, landscapes, objects, materials, and early formations that are informing me of what may become a fully formed work that resonates, compels, activates our individual and collective psyche.​
